OLAS
What's your source for this one? If only someone asked that question on 18th November 2010...
Fairbairn
He's getting over 2 grand a week in cash ??? What kind of expenses are these ?? F*ck me, it's hard to believe that there's anything left to come out of the Ibrox joke box... With that kind of money I'd have said coke habit but looking at the size of him only if he's cutting it with pate. Och look, I'm slagging Coisty now. This has gone too far. thplinth
What is the problem? A man like Sallary needs a little 'walking around' money FFS. Hopefully for him he has been above board about that cash in hand on his income tax return. Edited December 16, 2014 by thplinth
Charlie Endell
Non receipted. Just a cash allowance, if true it's unbelievable.Has that not come from Phil? If so, to be taken with a shovel-load of Saxa.
Rossy
With that kind of money I'd have said coke habit but looking at the size of him only if he's cutting it with pate. I was thinking 'flying in expensive hookers from Prague'. But I'll go with the Charlie...

I read with interest phils assessment of the oldco's claim against collyer Bristow. His prediction couldnt have been further from the actual outcome. thplinth
Would it be possible to have a coke* habit and be that fat? I am going old school and guessing that a pressure bevving habit has built up (along with the waistline). edit: Bolivian marching powder not the extremely fattening sugary drink Edited December 16, 2014 by thplinth

His prediction couldnt have been further from the actual outcome. Most? hmmm.. admittedly some of it does. of course it is all so wide of the mark brucie, like when he said that green owned the club badge, or when he said ashley had bought the stadium naming rights for a pound, or when he revealed that Wallace was effectively working his notice, or when he first revealed Greens onerous contracts, or when he told us last february that Rangers had run out of cash and would be in admin without a loan of some sort - just before they arranged that loan, or when he was compeltely wide of the mark in 2011 suggesting craig whyte might borrow against the season ticket income, and thats just the bits i can remember... I notice you ignore all of his stuff that actually happens and focus on the bits that dont. I posted the latest one as a rumour as thats all i claimed it to be - i guess if its not true Super ally can sue him just as rangers have done everytime he has got something wrong? Plus the fact he was also the guy who broke the whole Rangers Are Fukked story at the very start of this saga when the BTC was still in its infancy. It was from reading his post I realized there actually was a distinct possibility they would go bankrupt. Ironically they then won the BTC and went bankrupt anyway. Figure that one out... Figure that one out... correct and at the time the people scoffed and called him delusional. he is never 100% correct but he doesnt claim to be. He does get a lot of stuff right though and makes his own conclusions from the evidence. as mentioned above, very telling that he hasnt been sued for any of his "made up" and "malicious" claims. It's not telling at all. Rangers don't have enough money to be chasing bloggers for defamation, nor should they give him the credibility of suing him. It would also lack commercial merit given the damages would be measured by the damage to Rangers caused by the readership, ie fans of other football clubs who don't like Rangers very much... thplinth
I actually linked to the original Phil article back in the day when RFC 1899 was the only RFC in town. I think I said at the time. "If I was a rangers fan I'd be reading what he says and worrying about it." I recall back then there was a fair amount of incredulity and disbelief from the resident bears much of it based around the ethnic background of 'Phil McGobbler' and his motives in writing the article. I think if what he wrote wasn't accompanied by the sound of him chugging away furiously in the background people might be able to take him more seriously. While he may have some accuracy his "journalism" is anything but objective.

Phil has got a LOT right. And he's been saying it for years. For far too long, many rangers fans, as thplinth says above, just ignored what he wrote because of his ethnicity - prominent rangers bloggers like Chris Graham, David Leggat etc chose to attack him instead of look at what he was writing about. "ill Phil", "the disgraced social worker"

He has some proper sources within ibrox, but his blogs are cloaked in hatred of the club.

jailender
Doubt very much if he will get paid up front. They will prob put him on gardening leave, to allow them to pay salary monthly, and not have a huge one-off payment. Unless Ashley pays him off a la Keegan etc
