Prices For Next Campaign

£25 a game on average is decent and as well as we could have expected. No sure how much lower people want it.

On the way football is priced in the UK (and it is over priced), that's as good as its gonna get I'm afraid.

As much as I can't stand the SFA they have made an arse of pricing for years, last campaign the worst - they didn't make the draw and get us at least two games v absolute shite.

Are people honestly saying we shud then pay more if it was better opposition?

As an SSC member and a greedy miserable Aberdonian I still think the prices are too high and the SFA need to take a right good look at themselves!

I won't be buying a season ticket as I won't manage the Malta and Slovakia games due to them being midweek and I'll be working!!

So that leaves Lithuania £37 Slovenia £37 and England £57!!!!!!! ARE YOUS FOR REAL... And remember I've got to get to Glasgow on top of this... All this to support a team who failed miserably to qualify for Euro 2016

The thing is though I will because I love my country and travel to ALL the away games but if your someone who joins just for home games and the odd away game you're being fleeced IMO

Rant over.. MON Scotland

Go to the West Stand.

It's better and cheaper.

What are people still expecting. Into the fitba for a ha'penny and lift your lad over the turnstiles!

They have listened to the fans and made the prices cheaper for Malta, slightly more expensive for the winnable but yet competitive games, and top price bracket for the one team that the whole country wants to see play at Hampden. Think it's fair. And £180 for north stand is relatively speaking fair compared to last campaign.

What they should have done is move the Denmark friendly about to some other stadium.

Preferably hint hint, up north to Pitodrie.

Think the pricing is fair. It's £20 to £22 to Firhill. Think of the prices for premiership and championship matches where half the players play (our sit on bench).

Food, bevvy, transport cannot be taken into account when pricing as they are variable and impact different people in different ways.

The sfa does not make a profit for private owners or shareholders. Profit is used to fund Scottish football, run the regional academies, give to club youth development and pay for coaches.

If it fell on a midweek then they would struggle to sell tickets, as interest would be nowhere near as high, but with it being a weekend game it will probably add more people on the day, so they are chancing their luck by cashing in on this a little bit.

totally agree ?

The problem being that the reinvestment of this profit has not brought any tangible benefits, the national stadium is not the greatest whilst we haven't qualified for a major tournament for 20 years.

That is a valid point. ^^

The bulk of the SFA's profits are returned to the member clubs, that's where you should look if you don't think they are being used effectively.

From last years annual report on the SFA's expenditure.

33% to members

22% on staff costs

19% on player development

18% on match costs

£37 for Lithuania??? Robbing, brass necked kuntz

So much for there policy of not differentiation between each opposition

Thinking about it, purchasing a season ticket works out at £25 a game and only one p&p fee then if you are going to all the homes games then it seems fair enough I suppose. That's if your fortunate enough to make every game

As other posters from further afield have mentioned though midweek games against lesser opposition where they can't make it or have to take a day or two off work then it does take Noel Hunt

£37 for a game against Lithuania - Good Lord!

I applied for £40 tickets for the Italy v Belgium match at Euro 2016. Similar levels of match no? No...

My regular excursions to ligue2 matches every other week cost £7. To put that in perspective, the standard in Ligue2 isn't much different to the SPL. Season ticket is £90.

People can try to put it in perspective by comparing these prices to other Scottish football events but Scottish football has been insanely overpriced for many many years. A reality check is sorely needed.

Aye f*ck it your right

Season ticket in West Stand purchased

Wuft! That was sharp.

I hope your seats are up the back and round to the left...

I think the ticket pricing for the next campaign is a vast improvement on the previous one. Although that's not hard cause the last one made the SFA look like out-of-touch, money-grabbing, opportunistic barstewards.

If they release the ticket prices on the same day they release the cost of renewing SSC membership (including any early bird deal) I might just consider changing my signature.

The £40 Italy v Belgium tickets would be the equivalent of the £27 tickets. The £37 Lithuania tickets are the equivalent of the £100+ ones.
