  1. Excellent, Thank you lads. Not been there before so will look forward to it. Cheers!
  2. Can anyone suggest a pub to watch game tonight in Glasgow? May be traveling back north tonight but really want to watch game en route 🙂
  3. My fist games way back in early 80s were always full of Lion flags. I miss the mass of flags at games
  4. The whole world is going nuts mate, this is being pushed around the world, not seen it in Scotland yet thankfully. Also, soon to be; cashless society, Central Bank Digital Currency, Digital ID, impending Climate lockdown, bug dinners and synthetic meat. if only these were actually conspiracy theories I wouldn't be concerned about my children's future.
  5. I didn't see Jock Brown but the room was very busy so not easy to spot everyone. I looked at Andy Roxburgh as he walked in, didn't realise it was him until someone greeted him by his name 🥺
  6. It was a lovely service and was great to see a lot of Scotland players pay their respects including James McFadden and John Collins. Managed to have a quick chat with his daughter Val, she was lovely and appreciates all the kind wishes of the Tartan Army
  7. Just saw this and wondering if anyone heading down to pay respects? https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/23675509.craig-brown-funeral-details-announced-live-stream-included/
  8. I'm surprised his funeral date hasn't been announced yet. Anyone heard anything? Nothing online at all except 'TBC' Just trying to arrange my work so I can attend and pay my respect
  9. Gentleman indeed. I was lucky to be in his company a couple of times, he was the nicest most patient person ever, even while lots people were trying to get his attention and time. Ive never had the urge to attend a funeral of someone outside my family or fiends, but feel I want to pay my respect in person to this man who brought so much joy and hope over the years. A brilliant Scot in my eyes. RIP Craig Brown
  10. I agree, Scotland doesn't get the recognition it deserves and not just for our own domestic or International level. I was chatting to a football mad Peruvian a few years back who was here on holiday. He could list lots of Scottish footballers, many from the 70's and 80's. Turns out he met a Scottish football coach when travelling around Australia a few years before and was impressed by his knowledge of the game. He investigated Scotland and its impact on the football world, he was shocked at how Scots basically introduced football into South America. (His words). Even he said Scotland should be recognised as the home of Football. Sorry, slightly off topic perhaps but thought it worth a mention.
