Bristolhibby
I thought they just asked for 2000 tickets and the Georgians said OK. Who knows what the SFA do. But it may show the importance of just ticking that you are going (regardless) when the email asking out intentions comes out. J
Doric
Heard that 300 of the 500 pick up's have decided to return their tickets. Wonder how many of the 2000 will actually be in stadium !!!!

That's insane! So 15% of total sales are harvesting/have legitimate reasons. But 60% of people who are asked to collect are at it. Extrapolate it out and of the 2000 purchases, 1200 were at it! Staggering. J

J You need to also realise that with random collections for several years now the SFA are building a picture of who to target. So they may have targeted a couple of hundred and been successful in reclaiming their tickets to pass on to people who intend to travel. Langtonian
I don't believe for one minute the sfa have the time,inclination/ can be bothered to build up a picture/ database on who to target from previous years of collections? marinello
As a SSC member I am going to Georgia game and have managed to obtain a ticket. However my non SSC member mate who is also travelling aint got one. Any suggestions of how he could obtain an away end ticket or should he take his chances trying to get a home end ticket? He could get one from our group as we look like 3 people and 4 tickets due to personal circumstances. Drop me a message and I can confirm tomorrow if the ticket is still available. Saltirescot
Here ?6 flip that upside down and use it as a tin hat!!Ha Ha genuine but I know what you mean.To be honest for 3 notes which we dont even want it wouldnt be worth the hassle posting if it wasnt a legitimate ticket gained fairly and now probably not required. I would have privately pm'd the guy as well so happy to be up front. Expect some incoming flack though but if a Scotland fan can travel safe in the knowledge he has a ticket in his pocket then happy to accept. GregB
I am going to wait and see what happens I am going regardless with my son as I want him to experience travelling with the TA. I am currently looking at corporate hospitality as I would rather that than be in the away end with the Boy. Funnily I was on the GFF website and they have a strange way of giving out tickets..by walking everyone with police from one stadium to another. Isn't that the whole point of away trips?

I'm looking forward to walking around Tbilisi in nice weather. Beats hiking round the likes of Belgrade in the snow or Dortmund in the pishing rain any day of the week.
