He recommends Vilamoura as it has plenty of bars and such for your average TA chap. But he says you can take a 30 minute stroll along the beach to Quarteira if you fancy. Also lots of bars there but Quarteira is more run down. Seemingly Luis Figo has a pub in Vilamoura. Cheers for that Ormond. My initial info suggested what you've effectively confirmed for me but TAMB feedback is usually good to have too (albeit more limited than usual this time............ ). Thanks again. Meeting point?There are a good few around the main marina area. Also the town Quarteria which is cheaper is just a 20 minute walk along the beach. Tartan Pam Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 For anyone staying in Vilamoura I would highly recommend paying Robertos Bar a wee visit. Robertos is a very small bar on the second square behind the marina (go upstairs at Ruis), so you will find it a bit cheaper than Marina prices.
