  1. Ridiculous article, journalist most certainly an idiot. Agree with much of andyD. By posting it squirrel shagger has an agenda. After SaturdayI'm not keen to defend Strachan but this article is mince.
  2. We haven't qualified in 18 years. So it must, most definitely, be the current managers fault.
  3. Dublin just under 2 hours away for me, far enough if you just want to meet up for a couple of pints!
  4. Any Scottish fans in Belfast area interested in joining/setting up a TA club? I go to all competitive games, 2 others over here join me. We are thinking of drinkin sessions in Belfast for Euros and traveling for away games. Cheers. Colin.
  5. Just tried to book the 10.35am for sat 13th June, was right on midnight and already sold out according to website. Early start now as booked the 8am, we're planning a heavy night in Belfast on the Friday so that will hurt but more time for drinking in Dublin I suppose.
  6. Me and mate going via Amsterdam, no time there on way out but staying over on the Saturday on the way back.
  7. He hasn't been a liabilitity for Scotland. Agree he isn't a great defender but for Scotland he has always been great going forward and I don't recall too many calamitous mistakes at the back.
  8. My intention on starting this thread was to highlight we needed to get behind the team, not start another yes/no debate. Having reflected on it I don't think any protest is necessary, just getting behind the team like we did in Germany is enough, when the support was as good as I've heard it in the last 15 years.
  9. I hope all Scotland fans sing it. For now it is our national anthem. If it is not the will of the people that we should keep it as our anthem then we should change it. I hope that doesn't' happen, it's more important now than at any time in our recent history that we show we will not be defeated in our goal to be a nation again.
  10. I understand that a lot of people on here are at a very low point but on a footballing front we currently have a team and a manager that can take us to France in 2016 that needs our support. Why not instead of silent protests do something that people will notice. I suggest on the 4th and 5th minute and 45th minute we start a chant of Stand up for the Scotland and then applause, cheer and wave saltires for the rest of the 2 minutes. Basically create a wall of noise to get behind the team but obviously the significance of the timing makes a statement of it's own. Now is not the time to give up on our team or our country. We didn't win the vote this time but that doesn't mean we should be a bunch of quitters and give up. Get behind the best team we've had in years, show your colours and show we are not defeated.
