Parklife
Roast beef with gravy used to be a favourite of mines when I ate red meat. Corned beef, salt and vinegar crisps and tomato sauce was also a favourite. All the best sandwiches are made using a plain loaf.
Bristol Killie
Or anyone remember O'Briens uses to do a "sandwich sandwich"? Or maybe it was 'just' a triple-decker. ? Was that the one with the bacon, chicken mayo and coleslaw? It was one of my favourites. Still can't beat a piece n jam though, thick with butter. Can also back up the piece n sugar, one of my staples as a boy, or french toast with sugar.
sbcmfc
What did we do before the internet? I really wanted to answer with a picture, but my google search for "scud book in a hedge" wasn't returning the pictures I'd hoped. I like Tuna and sweetcorn or Turkey salad. Bristolhibby
Peanut butter and jam. Tuna and spinach. Lived in America for 2 years as a kid and never had "peanut butter and jelly". I didn't like jam at the time. Should really try it. J
