Thanks for the clarification but it looks like it wasn't needed as far as Allan goes

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/west-broms-scott-allan-in-accident-1415480

The article below gives more detail on the incident

Seems fairly innocent.

Anyway... back on topic. He's still unlikable but in a non-vitriolum sense.

Using Larky's patter. Today is not a good day for you...

Not really - was a pretty obvious thing to point out given you had bothered to quote it, then misspelt it. Careless stuff.

You are the master at posting absolute pish on here so that comment has got me a little concerned I'll admit.

Yawn all you like, it was all correct. Apart from possibly the Raith Rovers bit...

No it's not. Be realistic and not short sighted. Allan has much more likelihood of playing at a higher level signing for rangers than any other team in Scotland other than Celtic. He is a young man - it's not just about next season - it's about the next 5 years of his career.

I would not criticise a young player joining hibs from st mirren ahead of smaller spl clubs.

You also seem to have focused on league position last season and overlooked the pasting hibs got on Sunday and the change in manager and player personnel at rangers. Still very early days but hardly bodes well for hibs league campaign does it?

I do agree with that, BUT, at the point he left Dundee United, I'd have thought in the short to medium term potentially getting another 20+ top flight games under his belt would've been better for his career.

So I'm not sure that's his motivation.

Might just be a desire to fulfil his boyhood dream of playing for Rangers to be fair?

I'd say that's debatable. When do you think Rangers will be playing in Europe? When do you think they will advance any further than Aberdeen in Europe? When do you think Rangers will have a better chance of winning the league than Aberdeen do?

Rangers have a better change of winning the league than Aberdeen this year...

Congratulations on your single victory so far. This season will be an absolute skoosh for you

I don't think anyone could predict that in fairness. We have been shambolic for a while so it's difficult to get too carried away after one game.

That said I like what I see so far and I'm ever the optimist so I'll go for a higher league finish than Aberdeen next season, and further in Europe the season after.

What you reckon? £20 on it, loser pays it to charity? :)

I'm fairly confident Rangers will finish higher than Aberdeen first season back in the premiership which will hopefully be next year.
