Although at best 1 in 4 voted 'no' due to the 'vow', the failure to live up to 'devo max' or 'as close to federalism' etc. provides a great opportunity to show up the 'no' parties as the liars they are & get more anti-Westminster & pro-'yes' on board. Look at the different seats and put the Greens in at Hillhead for instance, maybe even give the socialists a go at a couple of the Glasgow seats. We should stand on a platform that we require Devo Max, nothing more, nothing less. If we can get 20 plus seats that has the potential to hold the balance of power at Westminster. This can force the hand of gaining Devo Max. If we get Devo Max, then after 5 years with this power it will feel a natural move to go to full independence. If we dont hold the balance of power, that movement can then be used to fight the Scottish election with a platform of Independence as Westminster will have failed to deliver. I would say to ant No voter that regardless of whether they were swayed by the vow that if the 3 parties were prepared to come together to vow something and the day later they start to renege on it then what dopes that tell them about their joint agreement on refusing a currency Union? My guess is that while the number of people who switched from Don't Know to No over The Vow is minimal, and even less for those who switched from Yes to No, The Vow may well have firmed up a few previously hesitant No votes.
