Russia A wee team? Can England win 2016 ? I rate Roy as a manager and i think England will be semi finalists at least can they go all the way serious discussion please. Depending on the draw, the semi finalists will be Germany, Spain and Italy - the Italians usually get the business done. Belgium the obvious 'outsiders', as much as the number 1 ranked team can be outsiders. Quarters for England, Semis if they get enough breaks. Od course they can go all the way but they would need a lot of luck, loads of it. They aren't good enough at the back as a collective unit and Hodgson will stick with Rooney which defeats the purpose of playing pacey players like Sterling. PASTA Mick Posted November 25, 2015 Share Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) It is a very open competition. Germany and Spain are still the team's to beat. France and Belgium have a good chance. Austria could do well. Italy are always strong. England do have a chance. They have so much pace in the side. The defence isn't the best but it's decent. I think Poland could do well too. We do have a record of playing sides just after they've won a competition. Hopefully Slovakia do it.
